Dental radiography

The first dental visit is the initial meeting between the patient and our team: we consider it a fundamental moment to establish an empathetic and trusting relationship. We do not limit ourselves to assessing oral health, but also take into account the patient’s needs and expectations.

At reception, the patient is given a medical history form to collect information regarding general health status, medications taken, and lifestyle habits. This is followed by a clinical examination (the actual visit), supported by diagnostic tests (intraoral X-rays and/or panoramic radiography) and, if necessary, a set of photographs and dental impressions. Information is also gathered about existing symptoms, the reason for the visit, and treatment expectations.

After carefully reviewing all the collected material, we schedule a second appointment to present the treatment plan to the patient: a personalized proposal addressing the identified issues, the recommended therapies, timelines, and associated costs.
At the end of this appointment, the patient can make an informed decision about whether or not to become part of our clinic.

Conscious sedation is a safe and widely used technique in dentistry, suitable for patients of all ages and indicated for any type of treatment. Through the inhalation of a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide via a nasal mask, the patient experiences a pleasant feeling of relaxation within a few minutes, remaining fully conscious and able to communicate with the team at all times.

This method is particularly effective because it reduces fear, controls the gag reflex, and limits salivary secretions. In a state of well-being and calm, the dental appointment can be faced without stress, allowing the dentist to work more quickly and efficiently.

At the end of the treatment, once the mask is removed, the effect wears off rapidly and the patient immediately returns to their normal state. The comfort and safety of those who rely on us always remain at the center of our team’s attention.
